HOWTH CASTLE & DEMESNE, CO. DUBLIN
Project Architect: Hopkins Architects
We were appointed as conservation architects to inform a masterplan for the sensitive redevelopment of Howth Castle and its demesne, which had been in the same family for over 800 years. The Plan will include a range of conservation works to the castle enclosure, incorporating medieval fabric in addition to works by Edwin Lutyens together with a historic landscape assessment, contributing to a respectful and appropriate approach to the demesne’s redevelopment.
